The handheld client is a true native PocketPC application with a self-contained database, thus it is server independent and off-line capable. The WMS layer provides important open wireless connectivity and seamless DBMS integration. In comparison to Terminal or Web service applications, wBox can fully take advantage of today’s handheld computing power delivering an extremely efficient, reliable and battery friendly mobile solution.
